Abuse is a natural outgrowth of our sinful condition. As Christians, we may care for one another and our neighbors by taking steps to prevent abuse, supporting survivors of abuse, and bringing renewal through our Lord’s forgiveness. I am excited to let you know about an online event from Kingdom Workers that helps you see relationship abuse through the eyes of a survivor. They’re calling it “First Look.” The event will be short – just half an hour – and it’s available at three different times. I hope one of those times works for you.
Why attend? (1) Walk in her shoes. You will have the opportunity to listen to a survivor tell her story. (2) Discover how having the support of the faith community is a powerful tool for survivors. (3) Learn two simple things you can do to help a friend or relative in an abusive relationship.
For convenience, Kingdom Workers is offering this event at three different times; I hope one of them is a fit for you!
